My name is Rosemary. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. In my practice, I integrate evidence-based techniques with a warm and supportive approach. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel understood and valued. My role in our therapeutic relationship is to assist my clients in setting realistic and achievable goals, provide support, teach skills and strategies to manage emotional and mental health, facilitate self-discovery, challenge narrative patterns, and provide feedback and insight.
I believe that mental health is just as important as physical health and should be treated with the same level of care and respect. I think that open discussions about mental health are essential for breaking the stigma and fostering a supportive community. My purpose is to advocate for mental health awareness, support those who are struggling, and promote the importance of mental well-being in our daily lives. My philosophy has been shaped by my own experiences, the stories of those around me, and the work of mental health advocates and professionals.
I offer a variety of evidence-based counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples via telehealth.

Parents of children with special needs face a range challenges that include both practical and emotional. The coping strategies that parents must utilize when navigating these challenges requires patience with self, support from others, and a level of resilience.
Trauma can have significant and long-lasting effects on mental health. Most people experience a combination of psychological, cognitive, behavioral, and physical effects from the traumatic experiences they have directly experienced themselves or observed around them. Trauma can deeply affect an individual's well being, making it essential to seek professional support. You do not have to suffer in silence, seeking help is a sign of strength.
Grief and loss can have profound effects on both the body and mental health. When you are aware of the symptoms that you may be experiencing, such as emotional distress, cognitive impairment, social withdrawal, and existential questions, then seeking appropriate support and engaging in self-care during such challenging times becomes a priority.
